Mutiara Persada Junior High School Curriculum

1. Mutiara Persada Junior High School is a National Plus school which provides 2 class services, namely Cambridge Class and National Class. For National and Cambridge classes we use ‘Kurikulum Merdeka’, but specifically for Cambridge classes, we collaborate with Cambridge to provide the Cambridge curriculum to enrich their knowledge.
2. The subjects at Mutiara Persada Junior High School are as follows:

3. For the National class, there are 15 subjects taught, but for the Cambridge class, apart from these 15 subjects, they also get 3 additional subjects from Cambridge, they are English, Mathematics and Science which are taught using English as the communication language.

Apart from that, because currently Mutiara Persada Junior High School uses the ‘Kurikulum Merdeka’, which includes lessons to strengthen their Pancasila student profile, we have also added one more lesson in the National class and Cambridge class, namely the ‘Project Penguatan Profile Pelajar Pancasila’ (P5). In this P5 learning, students will carry out activities based on the chosen themes, dimensions and profiles of Pancasila students being taught. At the end of the theme, students will carry out a Work Degree based on the activities they have prepared and studied previously.
5. There are several evaluations or assessments held at Mutiara Persada Junior High School, namely:

6. There are several assessments carried out in National and Cambridge classes, namely

• Formative assessment, carried out in the learning process in the material/ that chapter.
• Daily assessments are always carried out after completing each lesson chapter/unit.
• Mid Semester Summative 1 (MSS 1) which is done the first 2-3 months after learning begins to see the student progress.
• Final Semester Summative (FSS) which is carried out at the end of semester 1.
• Mid Semester Summative 2 (MSS 2) which is carried out after 2-3 months students study in the second semester.
• Final Test (FT) which is enforced every end of the academic year and before they go to the next grade.
• ANBK is a test carried out in grade 8 to map students' literacy and numeracy abilities.
• ASPD is a test organized by Special Region of Yogyakarta government for measure students' ability in literacy and numeracy, especially in these subjects: Bahasa Indonesia, English, Mathematics and Science.
• School Exams are exams from schools in the form of theory and practice carried out at the end of grade 9. This school exam is one of the determinants of graduation.
• Progression Test is a test for Cambridge classes with the aim of seeing the student's progress each year. This test is held by the school by taking questions provided by Cambridge. This test will be assessed directly by the system on the Cambridge Website.
• Checkpoint Test is a test for Cambridge classes which is held at the end of the year (stage 9). This test is held by Cambridge, will be sent directly by Cambridge and sent back for correction.
