Playgroup Kindergarten Curriculum Sneak Peek

1.      Our Services

Playgroup and Kindergarten Mutiara Persada is a national plus school for children age 2- 6 years old. We provide 2 kinds of service: Nasional (Bilingual) and Cambridge (Full English). Both of the services use National Curriculum but for Cambridge class, we add Cambridge Early Years Curriculum

2.      Our Lessons

3. Nasional Class

The implementation of National Curriculum in national class can be seen from Capaian Pembelajaran’ elements which are nilai agama dan budi pekerti, jati diri, dan dasar-dasar literasi dan STEAM. National class is conducted in Bahasa Indonesia as daily conversation. There will be addition of English twice a week and mandarin once a week. The Tujuan Pembelajaran from the Capain Pembelajaran will be implemented trough themes.

4.      Cambridge Class

In Cambridge class, we use National Curriculum and Cambridge Early Years curriculum. The Elements are the same with national class. The addition will be in the lesson of Communication, language and Literacy (English as Second language), math and let’s explore (creative expression; understanding the world; personal, social and emotional development; and Physical development). The class will be conducted in English as daily conversation. There will be addition phonic, Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin once a week.

5.      P5 (Pancasila Implementation Project)

To support the Pancasila learning, we have P5 (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila). It will be conducted once every semester. The theme for P5 are

1. Aku Sayang Bumi,
2. Aku Cinta Indonesia,
3. Imajinasiku dan Kreavitasku, serta
4. Bermain dan Bekerja Sama (Kita Semua Bersaudara).

These themes are used to portray the P5 dimensions which are beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia, mandiri, bergotong-royong, berkebinekaan global, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. The P5 will be done implemented in the lesson for one or two weeks and then there will be peak activity.

6.         Core Value

Core value of Mutiara Persada which is respect (responsibility, enjoyment, self-confident, proficiency, entrepreneurship, consideration, tolerance). This core value is implemented in character education lesson. We give the students understanding and example of this value by the good and positive example in their daily life.

7.      Theme

All the themes are applied in both services. They are based on Cambridge Early Years themes.

8.      Test (for Cambridge Students)

There will a test called Cambridge Check together. It is obligatory for Kindergarten B students. There will be additional charge for it. There will be a report from Cambridge about the result.

9.      Report

To report the study progress of each student, we will give some kinds of report for the parents such as:

1. Weekly report: theme report and daily report
2. Semester report (Intra)
3. P5 report
4. Cambridge report (for Cambridge students)
5. Mandarin report (Kindergarten)
6. ICT report (Kindergarten)
7. English Report (for National students)

All report contains the lesson given, students achievement, sneak peek for next lesson and recommendation for parents’ support at home.

10.  Extra Lesson

The extra lessons may vary for every academic year. It depends on the students and parents. The students should pay more for the extra lessons. The extra lesson such as: basketball, robotic, painting, dancing, modelling and roller skate.
